Cheer NY Holiday Gift Wrapping!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!! Every THU-SUN between DEC 6th-24th, Cheer New York will be spreading holiday Spirit and Cheer at Barnes & Noble (Union Square) by wrapping your books and purchases for donations. Your donations will go to increase our Cheer for Life fund that will benefit TWO small local charities needing your help. ART START: The purpose of Art Start is to nurture the voices, hearts and minds of at-risk youth through creative arts workshops conducted daily inside homeless shelters and alternative to incarceration programs throughout New York City. BRONX AIDS SERVICES (BAS): Founded in 1986, Bronx AIDS Services is a not-for-profit community-based organization that helps more than 8,000 Bronx residents each year with services and programs that touch people who are living with HIV/AIDS, people who think they might have been exposed to HIV, and those who are at high risk of exposure to the virus. So check out what dates the cheerleaders will be wrapping and come say "HI" and get your holiday shopping done. On the way out, get your gifts wrapped and don't forget to dig deep into your pockets and give the cheerleaders a $5, $20, or $100 dollar bill. Your generous donations will help others in need.

World AIDS Day 2012

Dear Cheer NY fans,

Today (Dec. 1st, 2012) is World AIDS Day - an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV and to commemorate people who have died.

Please show your support by marking this day, taking a moment to reflect on this worldwide issue. Please show your support by wearing a red ribbon, raising awareness, give a donation to an AIDS organization or attending a local event.

Cheer NY cheerleaders

NYC MARATHON IS STILL ON!!

Join Cheer NY on Sunday Nov 4th as we perform on stage at the Finish Line Pre-Show at the premier event of NY Road Runners, the ING New York City Marathon, and then lead spectators in cheering on the world's best wheelchair racers and elite runners! (9am-12noon) This year, we will also continue our support of NYC by cheering on local runners, celebrities and world-class athletes at the 24-Mile Water Station! (1pm-4pm)

24-Mile Water Station, Central Park East Drive and E. 84th St, Manhattan, NY.

The ING NYC Marathon will be televised live on NBC.

SEA TEA Cruise Tickets

Hey Cheerleading & Football Fans...Join us Feb 5th (Sunday) 8 am - 10 am, inside Central Park (near W. 69th St), Manhattan at The GRIDIRON CLASSIC 4-MILE RACE & FOOTBALL TOSS!! Start off your Superbowl Sunday by trying out your arm in New York Road Runners (NYRR)'s annual Gridiron football toss. Cheer NY will be there to cheer you on!And before you head home to park yourself in front of the TV for the big game, go for a touchdown of your own by running a quick 4 miles in the Gridiron Race. Don't forget to wear your favorite football jersey!
